Six years ago, not knowing ANYTHING about teaching in the NY public school system, I walked into PS 310 and started to teach violin to a small class of 20 students. That Urban Strings Curriculum, specializing in nurturing young black and latino violinists in urban cities, has now grown to a program of more than 100 in multiple schools annually, and it all began here. I am SO proud of my kids, who have started sending their little brothers and sisters to come into the program behind them, because they've loved it so much.  Come support them jamming out to Adele, Bachata, Bruno Mars, Bob Marley, Twinkle Twinkle, and everything in between, all with my live band.
